At Polis there’s a small sandy beach 3 minutes drive from the villa. Backed by pine trees and a eucalyptus grove there’s a taverna or alternatively it’s an ideal place for a picnic. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for hire.

West of Polis and a 5 minutes drive away is Latsi beach and a further 5 minutes drive from Latsi is Aphrodite Beach, the best beach in the area. Both have sun loungers and umbrellas for hire and beach front taverna’s. East of Polis, Chrysochou Bay curves away where you’ll find complete isolation. The beaches in the area are a mix of sand and pebble.

Alternatively, the popular sandy beach at Coral Bay is only a 30 minutes drive away as is Agios Georgios Beach. Umbrellas and loungers are available for hire at both.

As a change from lying around the villas’ private pool then only 4km away is the small fishing village of Latsi where you’ll find a beach and scuba diving.

Alternatively why not take a boat from the harbour to the ‘Blue Lagoon’, a small bay on the Akamas Peninsula virtually inaccessible by car the lagoon has crystal clear water’s ideal for snorkelling.

Another 3km along the coast road from Latsi is the Akamas Peninsular. With a prohibition on development this is a true wilderness popular with walkers as there are a number of well marked nature trails.

Two of the most popular the ‘Aphrodite Trail’ and the ‘Adonis Trail’ start and end at the Baths of Aphrodite named after Aphrodite the goddess of Cyprus and according to legend where she came to bathe after entertaining her lovers. Maps are available locally.
